EDITOR'S NOTES. --In light of the similarities of the statutory provisions, decisions under former Ga. L. 1969, p. 683, which was subsequently repealed but was succeeded by provisions in this Code section, are included in the annotations for this part.
STATE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES (NOW KNOWN AS THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES) MAY RECEIVE FUNDS FROM THE AUTHORITY; there is no requirement that the recipient be a state employee or repay the scholarship by working in Georgia. 1971 Op. Att'y Gen. No. 71-147 (decided under former Ga. L. 1969, p. 683).
